Geronimo, the little Bear,

Is quite afraid of strangers,

His best friend Jane has talked to him,

And warned him of the dangers!

She sat Bear on her knee one day,

And gave him some advice,

She said "Most people love you,

And are very, very nice!"

"However do be careful,

When you're walking down the street,

As someone with a nasty mind,

Could offer you a sweet!"

"Good gracious!" cried the Teddy,

"I'll go careful where I tread,

Because they are important,

The things that you have said!"

Geronimo has got a friend,

Who lives a mile away,

His Christian name is Michael,

And he has a lot to say!

Now Michael is a friendly boy,

He'll talk to any stranger,

He hasn't got a special friend,

To warn him of the danger!

One day when it was nice and hot,

The Teddy Bear went walking,

And soon he spotted Michael,

Who was very busy talking.

A man who seemed so very strange,

Was standing by a car,

So Teddy shouted; "Michael!

What a silly boy you are!"

"You've never seen that man before,

And he could cause you pain,

Now come and eat some fresh cream cakes,

With me and my friend Jane!"

The little boy was shocked at first,

But soon took Bear's advice,

He said; "He offered me a lift,

Which wasn't very nice!"

The nasty man went very red,

"Oh come on!" he replied,

"It really wouldn't hurt you,

One tiny little ride!"

"No thank you!" shouted Michael,

"I'm going out today!"

The driver slammed the big red door,

And then he sped away!

"I'm very glad that you came by!"

Said Michael later on,

"That man was really nasty,

And I'm pleased that he has gone!

I used to think that everyone,

Was nice like you and Jane,

But now I know the dangers,

And won't be daft again!"

"You're not alone!" smiled Teddy,

"We've all made big mistakes,

At least you've learned your lesson now,

Let's go and eat those cakes!"

THE END.
